That looks a lot like the peaky wake my centurion puts out. Mine isn't as big but I also haven't slammed it like you did. It looks nice though. A little intimidating though. :D

Thanks man really happy with the wake. Awesome spot to ride - especially mid week! Heading out tomorrow and will probably be the only boat on the water:D 400 wedge sacs in rear lockers, small sac on floor between flip round seat and rear of boat (guessing 250-300lb?) 370 tube sac in the walkway, 725 integrated bow sac (won't fill to max capicity under seats, approx 1/2 -3/4 full?) 6 peeps that day, 23.8mph rider at 77'

It's for sure a really fun wake with a TON of boot to come with it. I really like the kick that mine provides at the top of the wake, little old SANTE like. Always down to have peeps give it a go. If you ever find your way through UT or at times Antelope Point Marina Lake Powell hit me up. Always DFTR for a good set...

Drew is a super good guy. I know he sells all over the south east but his home base last time I checked was Orlando. My only question is who services the boats aka any warranty work etc. Everything else can be done at any reputable marine dealer.

My 2006 Centurion Lightning. No ballast going about between 19 and 22 mph. It tends to wash a lot on the landing side. With more weight in the front, it firms up and shapes nicely. It is difficult to get a clean wake on both sides. The deep V is pretty sensitive to weight.

captain_vilfo 03-11-2013 6:00 PM

nice asses

i mean wakes

DFTR that wake looks killer! Really cool thread, hope it keeps going

198? Crownline (Justin's Boat) w/ tower, 3 people, and 400# ballast. 25mph @ 70ft. This boat makes a wide wake, likely b'c it's an I/O.

I am still experimenting on it to see what give me the cleanest wake at 22mph at 70'. Most of my riders just go with no ballast and people in the boat. They are beginners though. The boat loves bow weight. I have put about 600lbs up in the bow and no weight in the rear and it looked good. I am planning on trying to put 1000 lbs in the bow and maybe 600lbs in the rear plus passengers and seeing how it looks.

My port side wake washes sometimes so I have to adjust the trim plate some and it helps a lot if I lower the plate most of the way down.

One of the cleanest wakes my boat has made was when I had 9 people in it and one rider and no ballast. If I find something that works really well, I will let you know about it.

Here are some shots from my 2012 MC X-30. The first pic is just stock, the others are stock plus 1500lbs all at about 22.

will5150 03-12-2013 10:24 AM

Man I have been thinking about the X 30 as the next boat and that wake looks good- but the MB wakes are AWESOME with stock ballast! Wish we had a dealer in MInnesota! the 21 wide body is a killer boat.

Thanks man. I'll have to try loading up the bow. I do notice quite frequently, that the boat tends to sit high on the water in the bow area.
