New phone choices

I am getting a new cell phone and am wondering if anyone has experience with either of these.
I am adding a line to my wife's T-mobile plan so I am stuck with their phones. I already have a Blackberry with unlimited data and calling so this new one will only be used for calls and a few text messages. What I really need is a local cell phone number but can't have two different phone numbers with different area codes ring to my Blackberry.

Any help would be appreciated or if anyone has better options with T-mobile phones let me know.

If you're only using the phone for calls and a few text messages, why not go with a more basic free phone? There's no need for a smartphone along with data plan charges.

I don't need a data plan with either phone. Also, I am fond of the qwerty keyboard since I have had my blackberry so long. The phone is free if I set everything up on line so the cost of the phone is no issue. I will only have to pay an activation fee, but I'll try to get that dropped.

Just wondering if anyone has experience with these phones.

Thanks.

I just got the Gravity three and so far I love it. The battery life is amazing, stays charged for several days even with lots of use. I like the way the
keyboard keys aren't too close together like some other phones I tried. It does everything I need.

I have the Gravity T on order. It should be here tomorrow. I'll let you know how I like it as soon as I have some time to play around with it.

Thanks for the help.
