Greatest Sport Ever Created.

During the second coming of Christ, he won't need to walk on water cause he'll have his kneeboard with retractable fins handy.

I want to be a pro kneeboarder so badly... Seriously. Problem is, whenever I bring it my friends wont let it on the boat = /

(Message edited by stoked_32 on December 23, 2008)

If it is busy on the lake, or I'm just sore from wakeboarding sometimes I throw it on and mess around.... just a few runs a year I have gotten kinda good.

I can usually throw down (these are the wakeboard names, i donno the proper term)
backrolls both ways
front rolls
roll-2-revert both ways
raley
3's
5's
1 kinda of 720 (only have done it twice)
switch (backwards) 3's and 5's

got pretty close to a wrapped mobe too

kneeboard is super gay but fun

wazzy 12-26-2008 10:11 AM

a buddy of mine kneeboards..... he is a ripper too..... he bought a Centurion Avey to kneeboard behind....

Nick sounds like you & him should ride together sometime.... we keep giving him wakeboard tricks to try... he has even hit sliders

misteve 12-26-2008 11:21 AM

I have only tried it once, when I was 13, and somehow I racked myself in the balls with the tip of it trying to get started.... I've never touched one since.

nosebleed 12-26-2008 11:43 AM

Those crazy boards make me nervous. I hate being strapped to it.

powercorps 12-26-2008 3:22 PM

so my question is for those of you who have made it to inverts on the keeboard as well as wakeboard... which is more difficult?

lfrider92 12-26-2008 5:15 PM

luke, i cant do inverts on a knee board. but i would think it would be harder on a knee board. on a wakeboard it feels like you hav emore control because you can use more of your body. thats just how i see it. im no where near good at knee boarding but that show i see it

sidekicknicholas 12-26-2008 5:39 PM

Kneeboard rolls are 1,000 times easier if you've done a wakeboard one first... and have a good sized wake.

My friend and I just pick it up one day and we both landed rolls first trym they're super easy

waterdork88 12-26-2008 11:26 PM

really just depends on how hard you make it (with a wakeboard or kneeboard). two completely different techniques and two completely different sports.

i personally find it easier to flip on a kneeboard and i find it easier to spin on a wakeboard

lfrider92 12-27-2008 12:22 AM

i guess i was wrong. haha

waterdork88 12-27-2008 1:04 AM

youre not wrong just different than me

pnichols 12-27-2008 9:15 AM

Jeremy, Didn't you make a video last year of you doing a backflip on the kneeboard in the snow.

Dude, that's awesome! Now I have something new to try next time I'm up in the snow.

ryker1 12-29-2008 7:27 PM

John,

I'm bringing the kneeboard the next time we ride together. Sorry it won't be the fatty with retractable fins as we just got rid of it. I wanna see the original kneeboarder in action ha ha

cpizzle 12-30-2008 10:19 AM

I think I'm gonna throw up now.

etakk7 12-30-2008 12:05 PM

kneeboard back and front rolls are way easier than wakeboarding, which is why I haven't been able to land a back roll yet on a wakeboard. I think having a compressed body position with less moving parts makes it easier. If you had to hit a target 20 feet away, you'd rather throw a knife at it rather than an axe

onthewatermo 12-30-2008 1:53 PM

I've got a wakeboarding friend and every time we go out on his boat we have to bring the kneeboard for his wife because that's what she knows. I think she got spooked when another girl chipped a tooth trying to wakeboard but if she's stoked and we can still ride that's fine with me.

steezyshots 12-30-2008 4:06 PM

If anyone has a killer picture of someone killing it on kneeboard. I have a brand new free kneeboard for the photo i choose. Must be high res, and I must get the rights to the photo to use in web media or print.

Happy hunting for photos guys!

steezyshots 12-30-2008 4:18 PM

Even better, if there is someone in the sacramento area that shreds on a kneeboard and would like a free kneeboard in trade for a photo shoot. hit me up.

waterdork88 12-30-2008 6:19 PM

whats the purpose you want the picture and what kind of kneeboard?
