I'll take anything warmer than the -23.8, -51 F with windchill that I woke up to this morning, tomorrow's supposed to be colder yet and it comes complete with blowing snow, drifts, and black ice!

I feel you totally!!! We've had 2 weeks of that here!

i hope you boat is winterized

sidekicknicholas 01-28-2008 1:22 PM

Would have had that but I put my life on hold and moved to FL for a few months...we have and extra bedroom...it was like 75 today and sunny

canucked 01-28-2008 1:33 PM

do you think I need to drain my block?

maybe i'll just put a light bulb under the cover

denverd1 01-28-2008 1:37 PM

Nah! With the light bulb, you'll be fine. my uncle lived in sasketchewan for 80 years and NEVER winterized his ski boat!

Nacho,

He must have had an outboard! My neighbours do the same thing.

I had my boat in for winterizing and servicing a few years back... well they kinda forgot about the winterizing and during servicing realized that the block was split... oops? They fixed the engine up but unfortunately it's never quite been the same as it was all original.
