Heading out for a snowboard trip and would like to be able to capture some video and photos. However, I thought it would be nice to have one camera to do it all, take photos and record HD video, so I don't have to drag my SLR all over with me while riding. <BR> <BR>Still leaning towards the Flip because of the underwater housing ability. Let me know your thoughts.

I use the Flip regularly and love it. Several of my friends have one and they all love it, too. Can't go wrong with the Flip.

I love my Flip. Plan on taking it snowboarding as soon as possible. Def invest in the water proof case. I plan on taking screenshots instead of hauling my dslr around snowboarding. <BR> <BR>(Message edited by wakejjboard12 on November 23, 2009)

That's actually really cool. I've never looked at screen shots from video I've shot with the Flip. Looks pretty clean.
