I have 4 of these on my boat, and I'm going to ditch two of them. All 4 are in great shape, I just dont need the 2nd pair.. imagine that ;) I'd like to get $1600 for the pair. + shipping (i have original packaging).

I heard that Wet Sounds still sells them too. I think they even pay for advertising on this board. If it were me, I'd place a classified ad, but hey, I follow the rules on here... most of the time anyway.

Yeah - I think I'd just get them from Tim at Wetsounds for 1800 bucks and have the brand new smell to enjoy.

I don't care that someone posts this here but $1600 is to much even for lightly used. I can walk into just about any retailer of WS and get a better deal just by asking for a discount. Price them properly and they'll move fast.

I never said you couldnt make an offer. I'm not in a huge hurry to sell them. They are very hard to find used in my area, sets regularly sell in the 1500-1600 range. Lucky you if you have an area saturated with used wetsounds for sale. :-)

Why would anyone pay $1500-1600 for them used when you can get them new for that same price or less? I know some people in Texas are idiots, they are everywhere, but I doubt they "regularly" sell for that much in your area!

Yep, I bought 2 pairs to be "over the top".. now i've been there/done that.. and I'm getting a new boat. The new boat wont fit 4 485's anyway... so maybe i'll do 12 Pro80's just to piss you off. Why do you care? Either way, your concern just keeps my thread at the top :)

UN, I seriously think you should offer the amp and the year old speakers for $1600. Thats both inviting and a good/fair price for used equipment. You'll get about 3/4's your initial investment back maybe a little less if you some how managed to pay full price for everything.
