ive been told it is 85 1/2 ft. and something like the last axle behind the truck couldnt be any further back than 28 ft. i researched it awhile back but my fifth wheel and boat combo is too long. i believe with a 31 ft trailer and a 23 ft boat you should be just fine. also remember that the swim step also counts as overall footage. hope this helps.

68' cali 72' nv you also need a r endorsment and a j endorsment if over 10,000 pound or a com. lic.

Pull trlr (5th wheel) can't be more then 28 1/2 feet .............I've heard 70 and 75 as total length's but I'll wait and ask when I get stopped.

And you need a certain classification on your license.

But I have a commercial license so I have triple doubles certification .....So I'm not sure of the procedure to add the class onto a regular license.

I pulled my 25 ft trlr and 21 ft boat a couple weeks ago and it was way easier than I thought it would be ! Also easy to back up with wich I was worried about.

Jeff is correct 75' if the center trailer is 28'6" or less. If the center trailer is longer than 28'6" the length drops to 65'.
