Lyman & Axis

Just heard via twitter that Lyman inked a deal with Axis boats. Stoked to see such a good rider finally get a boat.

JohnnyDefacto 06-01-2010 12:29 PM

I hope you heard correctly, I think Lyman on an Axis is such a good fit. Glad to hear a boat co. finally picked him up.

beretta5spd 06-01-2010 12:43 PM

I like that combo a lot

stang_killa_ss 06-01-2010 12:53 PM

finally! lyman has always been under-sponsored IMO

now get busy on that A20 Axis!

cwb4me 06-01-2010 12:57 PM

good things happen to good wakeboarders!

liquidmx 06-01-2010 1:15 PM

Wow, Axis is really stepping up their game. Two "go big" riders under the same boat brand. Smart move on their part, sends the message that their boats have large wakes for riders who like to go big.

eubanks01 06-01-2010 1:15 PM

Lyman and Harris...nice. Now they just need Dean Smith for the trifecta of the guys who go the biggest.

liquidmx 06-01-2010 1:16 PM

Jinx Eubanks!

cwb4me 06-01-2010 1:17 PM

hey what about chad sharpe

"he rides for Malibu"

Essentially the same company. Harris repped Malibu before his transition to Axis. Glad to see Lyman get a boat sponsor. What a demo would that be...a set by Harris followed by a set by Lyman.

cwb4me 06-01-2010 2:23 PM

i was referring to guys that go the biggest. eubanks mentioned they had Harris,Lyman and Dean Smith . i said what about sharpe.

jarrod 06-01-2010 2:31 PM

Another smart move by Malibu / Axis

Most boats have big wakes when you add 5000 lbs to them.

06-01-2010 8:34 PM

Jeremy, i know Malibu and Axis are "essentially" the same company... Axis boats are made in the same factory. But Malibu and Axis have different teams, so essentially Chad rides for malibu only, not malibu/axis

dhv142 06-01-2010 9:08 PM

john, axis boats have nice wakes stock, but grant it, it would have a sick wake with 5000 lbs in it :D

liquidmx 06-01-2010 10:17 PM

For sure Jon, however some boats respond better to the extra weight than others. Plus we all know people associate marketing with reality on just about everything between pro models to boats. For example, all the buzz around MB's pickup of Rathy.

But not all boats have GOOD wakes with 5000 pounds in them

pc_sledge 06-02-2010 4:48 AM

Congrats Keith!

hyperlite 06-02-2010 4:58 AM

about time

jarrod 06-02-2010 6:40 AM

Most boats won't get on plane with 5000 pounds in them.

wakereviews 06-04-2010 1:26 PM

Congrats Keith!!!

steezyshots 06-04-2010 1:36 PM

fill_er_up 06-06-2010 5:22 AM

wakerider111 06-06-2010 9:06 PM

very kool. congrats to lyman and axis

jsw 06-06-2010 9:33 PM

stephan 06-07-2010 9:20 AM

That little vid is so dope, even has some old school DJ Shadow!

Lyman's style is about going big and making things look perfect. Keith is the epitome of style rider IMO. Congrats to he and Axis, they got a winner!

loudontn 06-10-2010 7:31 AM

Agreed with Cody, everything I have seen from Jaopro is amazing and rolls perfectly together....Congrats to Lyman, great rider and awesome boat to be behind....Love to see Axis growing and getting stronger :)

chattwake 06-10-2010 11:24 AM

That's some good boat driving Matt...

Love that dirty Ft. Nasty water. It's cold and it will make your eyes burn, but it's always flat.

axismatt 06-10-2010 12:28 PM

years of practice! HA!

tampawake 06-10-2010 2:09 PM
