Ok so I bought an 08 VLX and I got the Titan Swivel racks. I have decided that I wanted to purchase some racks for the upper rack mounting location. I found some on ebay that were just plain jane illusion x tower racks. When I went to install them I found that the 2 pegs that are on either side of the bolt that hold the rack in place were too wide for the mounting holes. So my question is: are the mounts on the rack wrong? or are my mounts on the tower wrong? or do you have to have a special mount for the racks that go in the upper location? <BR> <BR>Thanks <BR>Preston <BR> <BR> <BR>PS I hope this was not confusing.

You usually have to drill them out a little. How wide is the gap? This was the case on the 07 boats. I have yet to see the mounts for the 08s.
