Perfect Pass display problem.

PP works (it turns on and off and, when on, beeps and holds speed). But the display is blank. I had my boat in a stall in a dock overnight for the 1st time ever in over 300 hours, and, it rained all night (like 5 - 1/2 inches in 24 hrs somewhere nearby).

The PP display is definitely clouded on the inside with condensation. I recall a thread where this was diagnosed as a moisture problem. Wasn't there advice to blow dry something? Can anybody link me that thread (yes I've searched but cannot find it).

I have seen that happen numerous times on my boats. Once it hits direct sunlight, it seems to go away pretty fast.

I have used a blow dryer to help reduce the moisture in the display. I have called PP and you can send it in, they will spray coat the internals and that will resolve you problems. 1 day turnaround before shipping.

Get it in the sun and it will clear up quick like Alan said.
