Changing from a 142 CBW to 138 Ronix

I've been riding a 142 board and I am thinking about changing sizes to 138. I am 5'10" 195lb. Does it make a difference on size completely? I feel like it is a lot harder doing spins and tricks on a bigger board. And I feel like a 138 would be a good size to control the board in the air and get more air. Any suggestion would be helpful. Thanks!

Id say 138 is pushing it. I'm 5'10" 200lbs and I ride a 144 Ibex

I ride a 135. same height and weigh more.

If you not riding in rough conditions then I like the smaller board. Easier to spin and easier to control overall.

Same height and weight. Ride a 143. A 138 isn't going to magically make you land that 360... I've never felt swing weight before...

I ride a 139 of omega, 5'10 and around 185 to 195 pounds and I like it, it's easy to throw around but any slower than about 23 is just no good, feels like it's going to sink.

I'm 5'6" and weigh 160. I ride a 141 and feel i get much more pop and height than on my wife 136.Both boards are CWB Marius. Rusty MALINOSKI rides a 146 and he does 1080's so it shouldn't hold you back too much.

Man, I'd try to demo one first or borrow somebody's similar sized board before purchasing - to me, a 138 seems a little small for you. I'm 5 10 and 165 and I rode a 138 for years and then switched to a 140 and I'll never go back. Pops harder. Rides smoother. What's not to like!

If you have trouble finding a similar sized board send me a message - I've got a 2010 Watson in a 139 that I can send to you to try out. You'd just have to send it back afterwards because I use it as my board to let dudes use who don't have a board.
