i have B530's and they have never gotten wet before. I took my boat in to the shop and it ended up sitting in the rain for two days. will this ruin them? is there anything i should do to the speakers now that i have the boat back?

Are they marine speakers?
|
You should sell them quickly, hit me with an email and I'll take them off your hands to help you out.

Its not great but will probably be OK.
Are the speaker poly-pro or paper?
Boss sells some speaker covers.
|
I was headed towards Dane's post. Poly-pro will be OK if they get a chance to dry out.

Paper? Well, what happens when paper and water meet?

If they are paper, you may want to check on a claim. Renter's/Homeowner's insurance would probably cover it IIRC.

Mine have gotten wet on many occasions. they are still going well...
|
I'd throw 'em away. Let me know where you are & I'll haul 'em off for you.
|
What's going on Matt. Mine have gotten wet a bunch and they are cool.
|
For the price they should be bullet proof. Surely they arent paper and they will be fine since they are Boss. My RF stay on my tower ad get wet all the time still look like new.
