I don't know of any California regulations against it.

Anyone know if it's going to be a problem?

I plan on having the tube on a leash about 15 feet shorter than where the rider will be.

I have been considering this too. But, I worry more about the wakeboarder going down, and the rope ending up around the tubers neck.

there is no difference in legalities than having 2 boarders, just make sure that the lake that you are at allows for than one person behind the boat at a time, a local lake only lets one at a time thats why i mention that. If your going to do it check with the people at the lake to see if they allow 2 people behind the boat at once would be your best bet.

15 ft might put you into the rooster of your own wake. when i did it i was at 67 ft and the rider at 70. play around with it and find your length.
L8
kb
