take off with more weight on your front foot and keep the handle in close to your lead hip

im tring the same trick and it looks like im doing a whirly but then stoping before the three. what does more weight on ur front foot do?

David Kenny. I have been working on the trick also. Ive only given about 4 attempts but have come pretty close. I think the handle pass version is easier. Landing switch in the blind position takes a lot of skill and finess. Just do a regular tantrum and when you spot the landing go for a handle pass. The key is spotting the landing first. Otherwise you will fall off axis trying to go for the 180 too soon. Try it, good things come to those who wait and tear sh*t up.

As you come into the wake, pull the handle in hard to your lead hip with both hands. This will help you keep the handle close to your body as you spin blind. Having the handle in tight will help you land over your board and not slide out on you heels.
