boat/ski+gopro+boom= BOOM!

You can see a second tow rope in those shots. It's probably a person on a tube holding a gopro at the end of a stick.

Yeah we got really similar shots using a tube about 5ft further back and a 7ft pole with a gopro duct taped to it. We had to put the tube ever farther back because I was almost hitting it with my board but the shots were awesome!

True that. i watched that trick 10 or more times. did anyone notice that he grabs the board THROUGH the handle. it is just kinda floating there around his wrist during the grab and then catches it after letting go.
never seen that before. just awesome!

Love Derek's riding. Watch his double-ups from last year's Spring Ride video. He does a tail glide and basically bends his spine in half to tweak it behind his head like a scorpion. Derrrrrty!

I had to watch that a few times to catch all the insanity. So controlled an tech. D. Cook is the Man. You have to give mad props to the front side ts 3 a 1:05 that thing was nuts dripping with originality.
