It has a lot to do with Greg Nelson shaping Murray's last few boards. He was the driving force behind Double Up.

This board was out before the Murray board. It was the last board double up made before they went under as Lidberg's pro model. This was an amazing board but like the rest of their boards, had a tendency to break. The pop was AMAZING and all of the fins were molded. I loved that board. I can't believe double up is back. Riding for them was the highlight of my wakeboarding career because their shapes were just unbeatable, but I was breaking almost a board per month.
Looks like they are bringing back all of the old shapes. The Delta/Nelson now known as the coalition was the best board I have ever ridden. If they come back to the states I'm definitely hopping back on one. |

ahhhhhh the memories, and the fact that this bad boy comes in a 141 is amazing. This is the "Coalition" when it was in the delta series previously the Nelson.

double up is coming back?
|
Is it made by Hyperlite?
|
Also, the Delta (blue and white board) looks more like the Delta/Nelson board, no?
|
That "Delta" is/was the Blindside Blade back in 2004. The rights of DU is owned by an Aussie crew for about 5 years now - the brand has been available there. I'm pretty sure that Activ can't sell DU deck in the US. Nelson designed all the DU decks so yeah HL should look similar. That Pure looks killer.

Ahh man my trusty black n yellow double up board in 96 was sickest board ever. Smooth great pop and super light. Back when we rode single fin at each end lol
