under cover bed cover
Hey guys
I broke my truck bed cover. It is one of those black plastic undercover tonneaucovers. The plastic broke underneath where the back window side attaches to the bed. I called the company but they don't have a fix for it. I am considering a fiberglass patch. It is on the underneath side, so I don't care what it looks like. Can fiberglass be applied to that plastics material? How would I go about doing that? thanks |
I don't know how you would fix it because it's a polymer plastic. Is it more then 3 years old, because I believe that's how long the structural warranty is for. How did it break? I've got one on my truck and it seems just about indestructible

I have one sitting around, what kind of truck do you have, would probably let it go REALLYYYYY cheap!

I have an F250
I had my hoist in the back of the truck. The arm was sticking up. The plan was to close it and use a strap to secure the lid against the hoist for the ride home. I let the lid fall to fast and when it hit the hoist, it broke. |
