Adding RGB to speaker cone/tweeter area on wetsounds xs650 -anyone done it?
 

I have an RGB project install going on in my boat right now, including led strips, led rings for speakers and cup holders, and now I'm kicking myself for not getting the xs650-rgb with the RGB in the tweeter/cone area.
I saw that earmark retrofits the speakers for $100/pair, but I figured it can't be that difficult with 1 or 2 (whatever fits in the space) 3528 rgb LEDs if the speaker grille comes off and you can pop them in.

Anyone done this?

I have not, I just went & upgraded to the RGB 650's, Then sold my 650's! I lobe them , much cleaner instal than having light rings. Good Luck!

Pulled the grille right off, will stick the rgb LEDs right on the bottom of the tweeter cone.
Grille came off with a few screws. Should be a simple addition.
