Building my own LED Speaker Rings for Exile SX65-M
 

After going back and forth with POLK, JL and exile. I've settled with SX65-M and thanks to Supra, Moomba, Wakeworld and Malibu forum members. I'm still waiting on my Cabin speakers and Led Strip Lights. But here's the picture of Acrylic Speaker Rings.

I took the pix in hurry since my dad just dropped the rings after he got it done for me.

Looks nice! Post up the finished photos once the projects done. Are you doing RGB? or sticking to a single color? - Brian

Brian, My first goal is to make it work with single color. But I like the idea of RGB+Music Controller.

What did you cut the rings with?

My dad works in the acrylic company, where they create/cut acrylic stuff everyday. I asked him if he has some of the diameter dye handy and his manager thought they have to built it from the scratch and my cost would be really high.

But my dad told his manager that they built those type of diameter few years back and manager didn't even know where to find.. My dad finds it and get it cut... :)

Speakers are not here YET... I should be getting tomorrow.

I'm thinking to order IP68 Waterproof RGB soon... I might put it on Swim board and attach it to my Music Controller (Call me crazy as my wife telling me)..

I don't have Supra or Moomba but my friends got them since they can afford it.. I got SeaDoo Challenger 180 and ful-fill my needs... I'm jealous of their Boats but they would be Jealous of my setup LOL

Whatever gets you on the water. To many people get hung up on having $80k boats before you are a true wakeboarder. Who cares! Enjoy the water and don't worry about the rest!
