Well, it seems that we were back to when the Minnesota riders thread started. Yesterday, Eder, Don, Erik and myself were tearing it up on Island Lake. It was cold and foggy, but the water was butter and Erik had the heater and hot water shower going on his boat. Great time guys! <BR> <BR>When the snow flies, I propose the idea to have all of us Minnesota riders get together some Saturday morning and tear it up at ProKart. What do you all think?

Wow you guys went out on Sunday??! It was freakin cold and cloudy and misty all day omg love the commitment! I was out ALLLL last weekend, Fri Sat and Sun on the Mississip. Good times. I was out on Bryant on friday and it was AWESOME! Water was still pretty warm.

I was out Friday on Long Lake still wearin' my swim suit. It wasn't chilly at all. It has been chilly the last few days though. Brrrr.

im still riding in St Cloud no wetsuit. We do dock starts and the only thing thats bad is the first fall, everything after that is fine. Ive only had 1 dry run hehe

okay becca, you have been wearing a 4/3 full wetsuit for the past month...you ain't tuff just because you wore a suit when it was 86 deg. bahahhahahah.

Andy <BR>I ride Bald Eagle Quite a bit, And a couple of weeks ago we found a rock strait out from the sandbar on the north east side of the lake. It was about 200 feet out from the last bouy. I was wondering if there are any others on the lake that I should know about.

Well I just got home from Bryant Lake and it was AWESOME! Total glass and the water temp wasnt that bad...it was the air that sucked! I still got a solid set in. I think I broke my big toe landing weird on a double up...I should have clipped my big gross ass toe nails before boarding! haha! Anyone else go out today?

Hey fellas, I'm starting to do some house shopping and thinking of getting a place close to either Prior or Tonka. I've ridden Tonka a lot and it seems like you can find calm on weekday nights most of the time. How is Prior? Is it blown out most of the time?

Prior is pretty decent, there are a couple of sheltered spots to get out on. I've mostly ridden there in the morning the 7-11 sets are epic. <BR> <BR>I'm not really sure what part of the lake its on but there is a nice little cove around the corner from the island with the submersible ski course by it. Depending on what part of the lake your on it can be a haul but its only big enough for one boat so the boat with the biggest wake wins.

^ahah, not in Northern MN. It's pushing mid 40's as of late.

i most likely won't be winterizing until late november. i went boarding on saturday too...rode in a 3/2 shorty, but it still felt great!

Winterized yesterday. Dude I had to stand around in the water and holy crap is that cold. I don't find I enjoy my ride as much when it's freezing either. But dang do I miss it!
