Upgrading Skylon Deafcon II cans to HLCD

I've got a pair of Deafcon IIs that I want to take the stock Kicker speakers out of and upgrade to HLCD.

They are being driven by a JL 300/4 Amp today, 75 Watts each.

What are my best options? Will I have to upgrade to a more powerful Amp (likely)?

What speakers offer the best value and will fit in these cans?

Thanks

Matt

What size are the deafcon II's? From all the information that i have I think you want a minimum of 150w each.
I assume you are running 2 pairs. If so you could go with 2 of these JL G1300 full range AB

better yet would be a 2 channel that can run at 300-400 watts @ 2 ohms and that should be able to power all four.
something like this i think would do the job nicely http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAu...s_ZXi1008.aspx
Again i'm no expert and i'm sure others will chime in with better recomendations.

The Deafcon IIs have one pair of speakers. I believe they are 6.5". Maybe Phil from Kicker can confirm.

I want to put HLCD drivers in the cans and upgrade the amp.

Thanks for the suggestions ldr.
