hey, i know that you have to stand tall in order to generate a lot of pop, but everytime that i do i come off my edge and just and up flying across the wake with about 1 foot of air. If anybody has any sudgestions on how to fix this prob please share them. Thanks.

Dont think about your "edge" as being strictly the angle the board sits in the water. Youe "edge" is how you are aproaching the wake and loading the line. The idea is to keep accelerating through the wake and maintaining load on the line regardless of board angle. Coming off you edge is when you start to coast instead of accelerate, and you lose line tension. Keep the rate of acceleration the same all the way through, and the load on the line all the way through. Now when you stand tall and the board slightly flattens out, it wont hinder your pop.

Finally! I have been struggling with this concept for the five months I have been boarding. All the emphasis on edging through the wake (hardest edge at top of wake) has really screwed me up in my opinion. I think of it more as hold/increase the edge as hard as you can for as long as you can before you stand tall. The key is to be accelerating as you hit the wake, not really still edging really hard.

I haven't been able to get my body to do this but I am improving.
