I started my nephew out riding last season. He is on a Murray Temet 138. He was getting down hs and some ts wake to wakes. Some grabs and also working on hs 180's. Looks like the board is a little big for him. He is 12 and maybe 80lbs. I was thinking of maybe a 130 or 128 size. He seems to progress fast. Any of you with smaller kids that can kill it what size boards do they ride. I don't care about him out growing it in a year cause uncle Squid will just buy him a new one.

Best part of all is being able to pass the stoke off to a kid. Heck we are already fighting over first pull and the butter runs.

(Also somehow I made a whole Thread of its own and it ended up in another tread. Any ideas how that just happened)

Squid, My 13 year old son started at 11 on a Hyperlite State 130 and now rides a CWB Rocker 132. He really is able to fly on the Rocker.

Squid,

One of my boys rides the LF 131 Nemesis, 10 years old, 95 lbs. He can do multiple inverts, ts 3, and all of the 180's. He will not be disappointed with the Motive. Steel Lafferty, Boys Division (10-12)rides the 131 Nemesis and he does S bends, moby dicks, 540's, etc.
