My camera got dropped this weekend (I didn't do it) with my vr70-200 2.8 lens on on it. The silver ring that is on the camera that attaches the lens to the camera snapped off. <BR> <BR>The camera shop was able to get the ring off the lens and put it on another body and it still worked like it should. I'm still going to send the lens in along with the camera just to make sure it's ok. <BR> <BR>How much coin is it going to cost me to get it fixed?

More than what a D80 is worth. Been there done that.
