just got new bindings, and was wondering if postioning them more to the heel edge of the board makes any difference in cutting on your heels? usually i ride with the bindings dead set in the middle of the board instead of postioning more to your toe or heel. any opinions?

IF (this is hypothetical, I dont know one way or the other) moving your bindings back gives you a stronger HS edge, that would mean you're then sacrificing your TS edge (which most of us already are weak on). Why do it?

-Steve

For most set ups you will find that cutting hard on the edge you set them to will force water between your binding and be harder to ride. If you do it toe side sometimes it will even drag hard enough to force the board to come around on you.

I think it's personal preference. Try moving it around and see where you like it most.
