Jet Pilot Full Metal Jacket is also a nice CGA vest

Hyperlite 5 to 10 is nice. Fits good, not too thick.

Oops sorry, 5 to 10 is NCGA, is mis-read your post. It does float well for a NCGA though.

Thread jack - today's survey, who is the one person out of 124 that said they've never worn a vest? Are they retarded or just full of it?

I just bought the jetpilot core, it is sweet. I think the jetpilot side entry system is the best.

Hyperlite Special Agent

It's not CGA approved but I just got a LF Impact and I LOVE it!

Jetpilot Cellblock. Comfy, form fitting, and not very bulky for CGA.

I second the O'neil Law. I switched from the JP A-10 to the Law, it is slightly bulky compared to the A-10 but it fits nice and has not hindered my riding at all. I did not like the side entry on the JPs though, the side keep coming unbuttoned and unzipped on hard falls.

thanks all for the ideas. I can swim pretty well but I figure more protection is better in case I get knocked out and because of the 1 CGA vest per person in a boat rule. Now...where to try on and buy? I see O'Neils at places like GI Joes and Jet Pilots at certain boat shops but even though I want to support the industry I'm on a budget...so what to do? I probably just want to get something new for around $50-90 that will be comfortable, not to bulky, and still keep me safe.

thanks,
-Kim

(Message edited by girlwhoboards on June 14, 2007)
