Hi Julian! I enjoyed your video and have just gotten the opportunity to do double flips myself. One of the kickers from the red bull wake open is now here in connecticut and its a booter lol I never really had aspirations of doing a double flip but i just have so much time on my backroll to reverts that i really feel like it's something i can accomplish.
Here's a video of me/my brother riding from yesterday! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OHERpbAU7Fc
I was hoping you could answer a few questions I have. In your video you have gopro footage of yourself grabbing mute to hold your tuck and therefore hold the spin, is that what your eyes are seeing? i tried to grab a few times but i looked at the board to grab it and couldnt keep the speed on the rotation. Another thing i had trouble with was hitting the line coming off the kicker. Did you avoid this by doing your 180 early and rotating perpendicular to the kicker? or should i just come off the jump farther away from the line and still throw it back parallel with the top of the kicker? Bringing your knees to your chest isn't easy for me either. When i throw my shoulders back i put my chest forward and it felt weird trying to bring my knees up when my shoulders were forward like that. Is it supposed to be kind of like a leap frog position feeling?
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this! Really means a lot to me. Hope to have these down soon!
