Slingshot shredtown or Liquid Force Peak hybrid
 

I am looking for a good durable board for the cable and I have seen videos of both the Slingshot Shredtown board and the Liquid Force Peak hybrid and they seem like they are both good cable boards. What is y'alls opinion on those boards or is there other boards that you would recommend for the cable?

I have seen longevity issues with both. Most durable/popular in my mind are the SS Newton and Whip, LF Tex and Shane Hybrid, Ronix Phoenix..

Throw the watson in there

if you are only a cable rider the decision is tough. I like both of them at the cable. I think the SS lands softer though. If you ride boat also the choice is easy buy the shredtown.

I mostly ride boat on my wakesetter but I am going to school next semester near TSR and I have never ridden cable before but I want to start riding cable a lot. I have a Ronix Viva that I use for the boat and I love it and i dont want to switch so I am looking specifically for just a cable board

Ronix Has a few awesome new boards out for 2013 that are great for the cable. If your looking to do alot of Airtricks the El Von Viel Schnook is really fun, and really a great all around cable board too! Otherwise the new bill board is a really good board too if your looking for a soft board to hit all the obstacles with. I have ridden both, and each of them are super durable and very fun on the cable. If you have any more in depth questions feel free to shoot me a pm!

thanks for the inputs Travis. Ideally I would prefer to get a Ronix since every board I have owned is a Ronix but I wanted to see what people thought about liquid force and Slingshot. I am interested to hear more about your experience with the El Von Viel Schnook. How did it work on the obstacles? Also how do you think it will compare durability wise to the Bill board in the long run since the Schnook board is a wood board?
