Chilliwack Lake BC, Canada <BR> <BR>There was about 10 boats on the lake and we were the only ones in the water, the rest were fishing. <BR> <BR><img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/65919/631685.jpg" alt="Upload"> <BR><img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/65919/631686.jpg" alt="Upload"> <BR><img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/65919/631687.jpg" alt="Upload"> <BR><img src="http://www.wakeworld.com/MB/Discus/messages/65919/631688.jpg" alt="Upload">

Nice glass to ride on! Wish my local lake looked like that right now. What kind of Coolers/tanks are you useing for weight?

bcrider 10-01-2008 10:13 AM

They are waterproof barrels that are used to transport raw protein. One of my friends got a bunch for us years ago and they work great. Each on probably holds about 90lbs of water. My friends dad uses them for his dry storage when they are canoeing. Filling and emptying is real quick too.

Dave - can those barrels be bought somewhere, or do you have to have connections?

Awsome looking lake. Whats the water temp up there?

wakedv 10-02-2008 10:02 AM

Dave, are your pictures taken at the provincial park? haven't been there for years, very beautiful place, bet the water was chilly!

bcrider 10-02-2008 2:11 PM

Mike - I have no idead if you can just buy them anywhere. <BR> <BR>Byron- don't know exactly what it was but we were wearing shorties and your forearms and hands would get a bit cold after a while. Chilliwack lake is glacier fed so it never gets warm even in summer. <BR> <BR>RJ - Yes, at the park. All of these shots are taken down at the far end of the lake.
