judge by time to plan would it be possible to get up behind like a viking 71 or something cuz i saw one last weekend and the wake behind it was about 3 foot tall and perfectly peaked

Imagine how long it'd take to pull you out and to get to speed. The turn around to pick up a fallen boarder would suck to. <BR> <BR>We never tried it, but I'd always thought about giving a go behind my dads cruiser before he sold it. Don't think it'd be worth the trouble.

Used to ride behind a 26' Searay with cuddy cabin. That threw a nice wake. Turn around wasn't bad and getting a rider up and on plane wasn't too long. Even got a few newB's up. <BR> <BR>Also we were just out doing a photo shoot and the guys were riding behind a big 34' Regal. Now that was a huge wake. Giant dbl ups. We would pick up the fallen riders with the chase boat however.

I took a run behind a 40+ footer this summer. I don't know the exact length. We tied the rope off of the tower on the flybridge. The wake was real weird kinda like a step-up. It was almost impossible to get any air because of a hump before the lip. Too bad because the wake was easily as tall as I was. I would drop out of sight of the chase boat. We probably could've made it better but was kind of an end of day lark after a couple of beers. Besides the twin diesels were killin' me after a few minutes!.........

i rode behind a 38 foot seaswirl, the giant one with 2-502's in it and sleeping for like 6. the wake at 21 was insane, no lip but it was up to my chest almost and im 6-foot, definitly an experience.
