Rookie Stereo Install

Just half way through finishing off my stereo setup. About to Get a new system put in. So thought i had to make things at least look decent & neat for when i upgrade. Have a mixed & mactch stereo system atm (Cadence sub, Fosgate Towers & in boats running off kicker mono, clarion and sony amps.) . So yes.... its all over the shop! Planning to upgrade slowly to a complete wetsounds system,

WS420
HSE Volume Control Unit
WS420 EQ
1 x WS 12" sub
1 x SYN 6
1 x SYN 4
2 x Pro 80 towers
4 x WS in boats (undecided)

Planned ahead and started to make the setup fit the WS system. just after some feedback on how it looks. I'm no professional at installs. There is still yet another flase panel to go in ontop of the Amp rack fixing panel i have installed once the amps are fixed on the hull side with a white vinyl strip to match the others. amps will sit flush with the face of the white vinyl panel. the SYN6 & SYN4 will run verticle side by side and fit within the white vinyl strip. the WS logo will be LED'd along with the Batterys & AMP's. Not entirely happy with the studded WS logo and bettery switch. only option as i figured out that it wasnt easy to upholster. not sure about the white battery cover surround either. Nothing overly special, just neatened up a bit. Feedback appreciated. Cheers!

Looks like you are well on your way to a damn fine system and install.

Pull the panel and apply the camera. Sins tend to be hidden. I see some nifty covers but I see no rigging. The picture is vague but I think I recognize the battery cable clamps your using from Autozone. Battery type? Ventilation? disconnect and over-current? Looks great but this is a tough crowd. Us salties are even tougher. Lets see the circuit breaker set up and harnessing with drip loops all nice and tidy where only you will see it. Maybe the custom ACR panel and charging system to support what you built. That is where the praise will ring loudest.

Don't mean to be harsh but I pull covers every day and find some ugly things lurking within. Nice covers hide Romex and wing nuts, bread ties and bailing wire...And Dear Lord Help Me>. Scotch Blocks on boats.

Not saying it's so.... just saying....Books> covers and all that.

Cheers for the feedback guys...
BaitKiller thats why i said i was a rookie. no idea on some of the lingo you used in your post... ha. No worries i will take some pics of behind the scenes. it is pretty neat and tidy. getting the actual stereo wired up professionally so that should be clean as.

am i using the worng battery terminals? batteries are rocket, dont know much about em. they are sitting in the normal battery boxes strapped to the floor without the lid. instead i have made up a perspex lidcover that sits over both batteries that lips over the side of the battery bozes so that it cannot get wet.

maybe i can take some pics under the panels and you can give some advice. its stricly fresh water use boat.
