Hi There, I'm a new boat owner and just had it at the lake for the first time this weekend. Everything was going great, but a couple times when we had to back up the trailer it wouldn't go because the brakes seem to be engaged. This happened on and off throughout the weekend. Sometimes it would back up and other times it was locked up. Do any of you have any ideas about what could be going on with it? I appreciate any help! Delaer shoudl haev told you about this. It's very normal on most newer trialers. your triaelr plug should automatically dis-engage it, but you cna do it manually if you have to. There should be some sort fof slot that wil not allow the trailer brake actuator to move back and forth (usually near the tongue) stick soemthing in there to prevent it from moving, my trailer had a special metal cutout made.

You need a 7pin to 5pin adapter. Yea or u can just turn on ur headlights and switch ur four pin around this will engage the lockout, turn the reverse lights on the trailer on and allow u to back up
