The stroy was the guy just got his brand spankin new 42' Fountain and was showing all his buddies how it would do these really awesome power turns. The fountain has a double step hul that can break loose in hard turns (as most high-perf offshore boats have-it's free speed). <BR>Anyway, he got tossed from the boat and he wasn't wearing those obnoxious little red cord thingies (kill switches) and the boat finally ended up in the position you see in the photo.

They dont necessarily need to have a double step though, Im not sure about fountains but even deep V hulls will do it. But yeah its pretty violent when a boot hooks itself, the guy that does all the work on our Donzis' has been thrown out of a Cigarette at 70, thats gotta be prettyy ugly
