i personally miss the moose and was honestly ashamed of the way people on this forum treated him. I attribute those sorts of people to the death of wakeworld.

Regardless of the way he typed,which was intentional, that dude was living life the exact way he wanted too. He wasn't a slave to $$ and debt like 98% of us. He kept it real and did him. I like him.

And all most of you did was make fun of him and pretend like in some way you were better then him because of your choice of lifestyle like some school yard bullies.

Da Moose made me laugh. "I think faster than I type". Good stuff. Lots of people on here piss me off but very few make me laugh. We had someone posting funny stuff and now we have people posting videos of some loser drug addict with a gun getting shot by the pharmacist he tried to rob. There are times when I think I might be better off going back to Yahoo as my home page. Swatguy tried to send me packing after my very first post and I hadn't even participated in a political thread yet. There is definitely a "this is my site and people who don't agree with me need to go" attitude by a core group of people here.

Yeah, the core group was ousted long ago. The day dave pulled those pictures off that thread and called it "advertising" was the coffin in the nail.

I like this site. It's all bull**** but if you need some technical advice there is plenty if threads to pull it from or someone who's been there done that.

It's funny the way people NOW view social media. I don't do face book but if you ever watch someone "using" face book and other social media sights it's like people "just want to sit back and be entertained" . I liked Da Moose. Some of his stuff was out there, and from pics I saw that he posted, he lived a pretty cool surfer lifestyle, even though with his injuries he wasn't able to surf anymore. Living out of his van, bbqing by a fire on the beach, watching the sun set over the pacific every night, and never worrying about bills piling up or a mountain of debt.
He was living the dream, not the same dream as a lot of us, but the dream he wanted to live. I hope his surgery was a success and he's doing well. |
The last I heard, he was hoping to be on Shark Tank.

Actually we are talking with Da Moose for the Wakeboaring Hall of Fame #WHOF. We understand he has printed facts/photos/ stories that are not seen in the general public that can add to our history/timelines that we are working on. if it is all true, than we have some great new information, if not than we have funny stories, but not history. I miss him on here. I think it was entertaining either way.
