Here she is....1987 Supra Sunsport. I picked it up about 3 weeks ago with about 715 hours on and have since put about 60 on it. I still have to put a tower on it and am getting some sacks in the near future....this is my first inboard so I'm really pumped!!!! I'll try to put picks of the inside tonight.

Holy crap.. gorgeous paint! Did you re-do it already?

denwbaseball 08-08-2007 7:42 AM

No I didn't paint it this is how I bought it....I guess they guy that had it before me "made" boats...like his own company or something, so he took off all the logos and a stripe and stuff and wet sanded it down and then polished it I guess. It looks like new paint tho! I love it you don't see any boats with this color! It costed me $7750.

One of kind paint scheme. My 2001 is similar, but I repainted it 25 years after.

Yea, I didn't think I'd like the color at first but know I don't think I'd have it any other way...with the int. being a light brown I think the two colors contrast great...Navy Blue exterior and light brown interior...not many like that out there!

lovin_the_wake 08-08-2007 12:45 PM

I like it

siuski 08-08-2007 1:27 PM

Sweet ride! Love the colors. Anyone else think that the interior looks like a KR edition Ford?

Did you buy the boat from Dan at Extreme? Great people to work with.

denwbaseball 08-08-2007 1:30 PM

Yep I did buy it from Dan at extreme....I take it you got yours from him to? Did get to take it for a test drive out on his private lake?

lovin_the_wake 08-08-2007 1:36 PM

I would kill to have my own private lake

siuski 08-08-2007 2:43 PM

Yea, I've been on it a few times. Sweet setup, but it is better for 3-event. It is shallower on the north end which can effect the size of the wake.

liquidforce21i 08-08-2007 3:48 PM

how much does it cost to repaint a boat?? I love my 2000 21i but the color on the outside is kind of weak...anyone want to give me an estimate? by the way sharp boat man, the marina i worked at had one that this guy ownned and it puts out a real nice wake

kraig 08-08-2007 6:49 PM

Hey! It's got walk-thru seating! I thought that was a relatively newer design. Wow, Supra was way before it's time with that design. Great looking boat, clean! It's heavy as well and I bet it throws a great wake.
