Just wondering if anyone knows what happened with J Star. Did they (Hyperlite) just shut the line down after the ownership change? It's weird cause they had riders on what looks like new 07 J Star boards at one of the Auzzie stops. Too bad, cause it looked like they were starting to bring out some decent stuff. I was thinking about an Empire this year. I guess I'll have to find an 06.

J-Star is still around, they are just not going to be selling there line in the states if I understand correctly. You may be able to buy directly from them, but you're not going to be seeing their boards in any US onlne shops or stores. This was the info I got from a store that used to carry J-Star products last year.

Thanks. I keep hearing different things from different people. One shop told me that J Star was the O'Brien's little "pet project", an now they have Ronix they are focusing everything on that. I don't know, this industry can be confusing...

I have a titan I really like it. I forgot my board the other day and had to ride an older board I had in the boat and was really missing the J-star.
