are you guys planning to use the board as a crutch? Size on your body can get you in the ballpark. I personally think weight matters more as it can completely change the physics of whats going on under the board.

without getting all technical, I think of a wake having two parts, one on each side of the boat. A single wave IMO, is what pushes you forward while surfing. I call it a wave on my boat.
