A.J. Racinelli surprised a lot of people by winning the Jr. Men event in Acworth. In the process, he screwed up a lot of your ballots for our first Pro Tour Prognostication contest of the season. Since only two of the 583 ballots we received had A.J.'s name listed as the Jr. Men winner, that seriously dampened everyone's chances of guessing all three division winners correctly. Nobody did.
So that's going to throw a wrench in our attempt to give out the prize package from Ronix and Billabong. Since nobody got all three correct, as mentioned in the rules, we are forced to do a random drawing from those that got two out of three correct to determine the prognosticator that will take home this killer Chad Sharpe prize package...
And the big winner winner is...
Nathan Williams
Here's the break down of the responses we got from you. As mentioned, there were 583 entries, which was pretty impressive given the fact that you only had a little more than two days to get signed up for the first round of this contest. 74 Of you predicted Phillip Soven would win the Pro Men division, 257 of you predicted that Emily Copeland Durham would top the Pro Women's podium and, as mentioned, only two of you figured A.J. Racinelli, Jr. had it in him to take the Jr. Men win.
While we're getting those goodies shipped out to Nathan, you should get in your best guesses for our next Pro Tour Prognostication contest where you'll be predicting the winners of the Pro Men and Jr. Men divisions at the second Pro Tour stop in Ft. Worth, Texas on June 2-3.
