Since it's wake has more of a thin peak than the axis it tends to roll over when over weighted. Malibu hulls are flatter towards the rear causing them...

cjh1669 made a post in this thread: MXZ 22 with standard HPNot bad at all. The LSV we were on with the LS3 and 1235 was topping out at 43.5. It had zero problems planing out with 3k in ballast, or 14 people and 2250lbs, at alt. Love that engine.
