Good ideas here guys. I have one of those laser thermometers too - mostly to check hub temp on long runs. Never thought to use it on the lake. Will give it a shot!

There's gotta be a simple wireless version that can give you amient air temp (from a probe under the dash) and water temp (from the perfect pass wheel, or separate wireless probe). The perfect pass thing is cool I will definitely try that. B...

I love wakemakers, but theyre wrong about that. When I changed to 1" drain lines I noticed a considerably fast drain rate. I could tell by looking at the water dumping out the back... The 3/4"chokes it off.

Ryan - the drain line is probably smaller. Mine (V215) had a 1" fill and a 3/4" drain hose. Switch out the drain hose to 1" and you are good to go. I did and it is way faster.
