boardman74 made a post in this thread: 2005 Xstar
I would think a 2005 Xstar should be well above the 20-30K range.

boardman74 made a post in this thread: V210 wiring and engine issues
A lot of those years had a strictly V drive over heat light somewhere on the dash, not a Vdrive temp gauge…that could be your wires. Also sometimes there are extra wires in the harnesses for accessories your boat didn't have. Thats also a ...

Submerged boats can be and are almost always a nightmare. You will likely chase demons in that boat the rest of the time you own it. They are also very hard to resell. Sounds like a carb rebuild could be in order. If your not comfortable wit...

boardman74 made a post in this thread: DIY washdown pump?
^^Kind what I am thinking!! Our lake is pretty clean, but I still wouldn't want to wash my boat with it. Its also pretty hard water judging by the water spots.

boardman74 made a post in this thread: Pricing on Used Boats from Dealers
[QUOTE=Ewok01;1906256]Whether you buy through a dealer or private party your going to have to pay tax either way. You either pay tax to the dealer while they do the usual boat title and registration paperwork for you. Or you pay tax directly to...

Right here…. "We have been trying to sell it for almost 2 years. We werent having much luck so we decided to let a dealer try to sell it on consignment for us. They had it for almost a year with only a few LOWBALL offers." I went to public...

I don't think that is true at all. You left your boat with a licensed dealer for a specific reason. Not like you abandoned it in their lot. They stole your boat, thats theft so unless your insurance policy doesn't cover theft, your good. Never...

boardman74 made a post in this thread: Putting an inboard on a boat lift?
You need way more clearance. Whatever boat you buy you need to measure the highest bunk point at the rear to the top of the prop guard. Thats going to be your minimum from the cross member to the top of your bunks. Most are in that 14-18" range...

boardman74 made a post in this thread: What should I do with this boat?
Selling a boat like that without a trailer is going to be nearly impossible. If you sell the trailer separate your going to have to part out the boat. What you will find is your going to likely end up with a hull to try to dispose of and that is...
