behindtheboat made a post in this thread: Cable park
Rent one where you go. If you care about your board, or would buy one after you find you enjoy it, it seems better to rent. The obstacles won't leave much of a mark on the bottom, and kickers won't do much, but the first time you slap the edge o...

I'm going to disagree, and say you'll risk some good damage. If you're asking this, you probably haven't hit many kickers or sliders. It's likely you're going to damage the edge of your board, and that risks long term damage to the board.

behindtheboat made a post in this thread: Air tricks
take a tower turn so you've got a tight line, cut back inside a bit so you're under the cable, speed is not your friend when learning, you pretty much just want to turn the board and dig in further and further, as if you were trying to stop the ca...

No where, it bounces around too much

behindtheboat made a post in this thread: Tantrums off kickers
Let the kicker kick/pop you into the flip. Take an aggressive cut, at the top square up your shoulders parallel to the ramp, and kick off the top, which will kick you into rotation. This is how you can then add a grab easier.

What boots are you using? What ski are you looking at? Lot's of clearance sales going on right now.
