I have a 13' ronix one modello, but that's definitely not for the cables, and it would probably break there anyway. So I'm looking to buy a Phoenix because I keep hearing a lot of good things about it. I'm not asking to buy one off anyone, I'm just looking to try one out before I decide to get one for sure. Anyone with a Phoenix willing to let me try it out? I'm 140 lbs so my ideal size would probably be between 134 and 140. I wear size 12 ronix one boots. Just looking to take it in the standard cable for a run or two, I don't need to take it in advanced cable. I just want to see how she rides and feels on the water and sliders etc. And there's no tight time frame or anything either, I live in Melbourne but I go to OWC pretty much every weekend, so whenever is fine. I probably wont even have the money to buy my own in like 2 or 3 months, so no stress. Also, just a matter of opinion, do you think the phoenix would go good with systems? Right now if I were to picture my ideal board for cable it would be a 2013 Phoenix intelligent w/ AJ system bindings. Thoughts? And thank you!

I know it sounds stupid but don't judge me, I was super baked when I came up with the idea.

I was just thinking, what if I had a heavier toy boat with a deeper hull for stability that had something I could mount a Go Pro to? I could make the rope longer and shorter so I could get shots in front of me (like someone would in a tube) and behind me. Only reason I don't do the inner tube thing is because a lot of the time when I go ride it's just my dad and I, sometimes my sister (who's learning) goes, but not often enough to really spend money on an inner tube.

The only problem with the toy boat idea is the water being choppy. It's really easy to imagine the chop of the water giving me a reeaaally shaky video, probably even in totally glassy water because of the prop wash. So, do I have any other ridiculous ideas? You better believe it!! Lol, so what if I had an RC helicopter (a really good one, I know its expensive) with a Go Pro mounted on it somewhere? Well, obviously we could only use it if there was someone else besides the dad on the boat, and since it would probably be a little costly to get one of  helicopters, it contradicts me wanting to build the little toy boat thing.

BUUUUUT, could you imagine how sick that would be?! Lets say I bitch at my dad enough for him to get my sister and I one of those way overpriced RC helicopters, lets say we learned how to use the thing pretty well, lets say it wasn't too windy, and lets say we set the camera at an angle we were familiar with so we had a basic idea of where it should be relative to whoever is riding to get a good shot, and LETS JUST SAY THIS ISNT TOO STUPID....

Lol anyone heard of anything like this? Opinions and ideas would be appreciated
