Sitting proudly atop the ever deepening stack of Suction bindings available from Liquid Force, is the Deep Suction. It's the youngest binding to come off their drawing board, but easily the most technically advanced.

The Deep Suction sports a look similar to that of a snowboard binding with its ratchet style clamping system. This strap, which comes across the front of the binding, pushes and holds your heel down into the heel pocket of the boot. The strap provides a tremendous feeling of security when snugly tightened, yet offers the rider the opportunity to easily release the pressure on the feet after a fall or even while riding.

As if this clamping system wasn't enough, they've also included a double velcro ankle strap at the top of the binding. This strap adds another layer of security and ensures that your feet will stay in the bindings in all but the most extreme conditions.

The fit of the binding is pure Liquid Force, snug and comfortable. With the added adjustability of the ratchet strap and ankle strap, you're going to be hard pressed to find someone who doesn't like the fit that the Deep Suctions provide. It's customizable and adjustable on the fly, so if it doesn't fit your foot, it's nobody's fault but your own.

Although it seems like there are a lot of gadgets and gimmicks used to sell bindings these days, I quickly learned that the Deep Suctions' features were anything but. They were a high tech solution to problems that have plagued wakeboard bindings in the past; poor fit and limited security.

I found that these features greatly improved the fit and feel of the bindings and provided a high performance wakeboarding experience. I would rate the Deep Suctions among the top bindings available today.
