it's August 8 2011, my personal winch (the great white wicked winch of the west) has been disassembled in preparation of its new aluminum frame and aluminum components, I've done a little work on it that doesn't need the frame present as its currently being welded by a local fabrication shop, I've finished and assembled the spool which is about all that can be done until the frame arrives, right now I'm sitting on my thumbs and that sucks knowing Wake the Plank is just in a couple days. I'm expecting the frame tomorrow then its balls to the wall to get it fab'd and assembled ready to hit the road Wednesday afternoon for the rail jam.  Good thing the Jeep is sporting brand new tires....
