Who/When: Busta – Sunday, August 4 at 6:30pm Busta Rhymes’ monumental first single, "Whoo-Ha! Got You All In Check," from his debut album, The Coming, launched Busta on a trajectory towards superstardom. His follow up album, the 1.5 million selling When Disaster Strikes kept him there. His most recent album, Genesis, is already platinum and features P. Diddy and Mary J. Blige.
Run-D.M.C. – Sunday, August 4 at 11:30am (part of the D.J. Spinoff) Run-D.M.C. broke hip hop music, paving the way for everybody else. They will be featured at the Gravity Games during the D.J. Spinoff. They were the first rap group to earn gold and platinum albums, the first to be nominated for a Grammy, and the first to star on MTV. For two generations of rap fans, they are the face and sound of '80s hardcore hip-hop. Run DMC is touring this summer with Aerosmith and Kid Rock.
