When Every Day is Friday: The Dallas Friday Interview

Dallas Friday here in my hometown of Orlando, Florida. I just got back from Canada and I did something in Canada I have been wanting to do for a while - I got my eyebrow pierced. I loved it, but when I got home and my parents saw it they flipped out. Needless to say they already made me take it out. They did not like it at all. I guess I was just hoping for some kind of miracle that they would like it, but that was definitely not the case. Parents are so weird sometimes. I guess I have to wait until I am 18.
I flew into Orlando Monday night at 8 p.m and I was on the phone doing an interview at 9:30 p.m. with a writer in Pennsylvania. I got in the shower and was in bed at 11:30 p.m. Tuesday morning, I was up at 5 a.m. and was at a photo shoot for Malibu Boats at 6 a.m. They brought in a helicopter for the shoot which was cool. Photo shoots and interviews help me to promote the sport of wakeboarding. Try to check out the August issues of Sports Illustrated for Kids and Interview Magazine on newsstands now, then the September issue of Seventeen Magazine where I am sharing more about the great sport of wakeboarding.
After the shoot, I and a few of the Malibu team riders, Darin Shapiro and Gerry Nunn, went to have breakfast. I then got to go ride. I rode really well! My KGB I do wrapped, but today I tried the handle pass KGB and came so close to landing it! It was a great day.
On Wednesday, I was up at 5 a.m. again and at the Malibu shoot at 6 a.m., then back out on the lake to practice again. On Thursday morning, I found myself riding again but this time had to be filmed with a digital camera for the upcoming Activision Shaun Murray Pro Wakeboarder video game. Activision needed to make a digital animation of how my hair blew in the wind while riding in the boat to make my character authentic all the way down to my hair blowing right. They are covering all the angles and this is going to be the best wakeboarding video game ever! I am leaving on a flight today at 4 p.m. for California and will check in from there. Welcome to the hectic life of a wakeboarder!
