Bala, Muskoka, ON - WAKESTOCK WORLD CUP FESTIVAL returns to Muskoka, Canada’s premier summer playground, for its 4th annual celebration of summer sports and music, August 9-12, 2001.
Featuring the largest stop on the World Tour of Wakeboarding, Wakestock attracts over 20,000 wakeboarding and summer fun enthusiasts to Muskoka cottage country for four days of boarding, bands and bikinis.
Wakestock is the only event to draw all of the world’s top professional wakeboarders, who compete for $50,000 in cash and prizes in four different competitions: Expression Session, Rail Slide, Wakeskate, and Night Big Air.
Wakestock also features the world’s largest Amateur wakeboarding championship attracting over 350 recreational wakeboarders and their families.
While wakeboarding competition is the attraction on the water, Wakestock’s sports and music festivities are what animate the Festival on shore featuring: live music; parties; the annual Miss Wakestock Bikini Contest; a Boarder’s Marketplace featuring the latest in surf wear and watersports from over 40 exhibitors; the Wakestock Boat Show featuring the latest in recreational and wakeboarding boats; free wakeboarding rides and demos; plus action sports demonstrations.
