1992 American Skier volante open bow inboard boat. Indmar 351 engine with 755 hours. Runs great. Clean boat with newer vinyl skins, carb rebuild, trailer tires, and more. White hull with black stripe.

not to be a downer- but that boat wpn't make a great wake. it is a GREAT ski boat- but the freeboard is very low and getting enough ballast in it to really get the wake set up will be tough. you'll be riding around with water right at the rub-rail.

Anyone had any experience putting a wedge on a boat like this? maybe that's an option....

Will, Most inboard from that era could use more freeboard. I am not sure it is any worse than a sport nautique of that year (see picture) and I hear they work well for wakeboarding. Overall it is a great don't break the bank, get out on the water, bring your friends/family, load it down (if desired), and have fun boat.

Anyone interested in the wake potential is free to bring fat sacks for a water test.
