Are there any issues I should worry about if I store my boat in an outdoor storage location a block from the ocean. The boat has a stainless steel wakeboard tower that will be uncovered---the rest of the boat will be well covered; the trailer is aluminum.

I would wax the piss out of it since it will be near the ocean salt for a long period of time...

just a thought.

I wouldn't do it and leave it for any period of time. Gel coat absorbs that kinda soot and over time salt will ruin it especially if you have dark colors on your boat. I would look into inside storage.

Salt water is bad news all around. I would avoid outdoor storage as well! Better to be safe than sorry.
